My thermostat has dropped the temperature to two marks left of center when running, 161-163 degrees. At what point does the warranty replace it? Lewis |

Never seen a t-stat ever warrantied outside of the 3/36 BTB warranty before unless it failed in the 12/12 warranty that comes with a shop install of new part. |

I'm running at about 3/8ths right now, and I was wondering also what the temp break point is for replacing the t-stat under warranty. Just checked the list last night and the t-stat is covered, but under what criteria? Got to get a few other things also looked at/checked at the dealership before the warranty is up, in addition to a quote for the timing chain for the future. BTW-got to interview the diesel mechanic and maybe we'll be alright. Thanks fellas for all you have taught me so far about the particularities of the CRD in the Liberty. It felt good that I was able to grill him a little bit to see if he knew his stuff AND that he knew, I knew. You guys are the best. |

According to GDE running below 167F in the winter should have the viscous heater running full time. Lewis |

Thanks, I will keep 167* in mind as the marginal temp. |
