I have a ringing,rubbuing kinda clanging noise coming form either the front diff,wheels or uj/cv. I have only used the four wheel drive once in the winter snow and ice and always changed out on ter mac. The noise is loud outside and attracts attention from pedestrians. If I switch to 4 wheel drive the noise seems to go away. Anybody got any ideas. Seems to be bad when the front wheels have no direct drive or are free wheeling.
