Well I have the computer out in the garage and have a question or two...
- will the camshaft locking pins go in if they are not lined up? I did see the holes but just wanted to make sure...
- to get the water pump out do I need to take the exhaust manifold off, or just the front timing cover?
Thanks.

Locking pins won't go in if they're not lined up.
Water pump can come out with the timing cover removed (you have to remove the cam sprockets to access the bolts). No need to remove the manifold.
Idler pulleys are loosened by turning the wrench clockwise. A tip when installing the idlers, make sure your torque wrench clicks in a counter-clockwise direction. Cheap wrenches (like one of mine) don't.
Tensioner is normal thread.
