Have a grinding noise in the rear drivers side, i think it may be a bearing. if i have time i will probably take the diff. cover off and see if i have metal flakes in the diff. if i do i will probably end up replacing entire axle so i dont have to worry about it i guess. does anyone know how to tell if you have abs in the rear? and were i can find out what gear ratio i have? is it labeled inside the glove box or something? |

All KJ CRDs in North America have 3.73 axle ratio. The ABS should work on each brake by pulsating the line pressure if lock is detected. |

Before you do open your diff, take 10 minutes and take off your back rotors,a common problem of our jeeps are the e-brake shoes falling off in the drums(inside the rotors)you can find many posts about that here, just in case you didnt know. |

'05's have a 3 channel ABS,uses the tone ring in the diff that is between the carrier and ring gear with a sensor on top of the diff.'06's have a 4 channel ABS system with the tone rings on each axle shaft. |
