Have a grinding noise in the rear drivers side, i think it may be a bearing. if i have time i will probably take the diff. cover off and see if i have metal flakes in the diff. if i do i will probably end up replacing entire axle so i dont have to worry about it i guess. does anyone know how to tell if you have abs in the rear? and were i can find out what gear ratio i have? is it labeled inside the glove box or something?

All KJ CRDs in North America have 3.73 axle ratio. The ABS should work on each brake by pulsating the line pressure if lock is detected.

Before you do open your diff, take 10 minutes and take off your back rotors,a common problem of our jeeps are the e-brake shoes falling off in the drums(inside the rotors)you can find many posts about that here, just in case you didnt know.

'05's have a 3 channel ABS,uses the tone ring in the diff that is between the carrier and ring gear with a sensor on top of the diff.'06's have a 4 channel ABS system with the tone rings on each axle shaft.

noise came back this morning when i left the driveway, now thinking it may have been a combination of the e brake hanging up and possible bad u joint

I just replaced my rear u-joints, but mine was more of a squeak then a grind, they were stuck in there good like normal! good luck
