Ok so I am almost to 60K and due for a state safety inspection soon. I know its about time for my fuel filter to be changed and I am thinking the serpintene belt should be changed and I would like to have the transmission pan dropped and the fluids and filters changed. is there anything else I should get done?

I can do the fuel filter on my own. not sure if I have all the tools to do the belt and the trans would be more mess than I want to get in to in the driveway. I would have all the stuff I don't want to do my self done at the same time as the inspection.

Diffs and transfer. Every easy to do. I did them myself.
I have a write up on it in the lost northeast section on the forum under next weeks project.

my Diffs were done last year early in the fall so they should be fine for now the Transfer case yeah that might be worth doing. it takes ATF+4 just like the Transmission right?

I had my radaitor flushed and new coolant in January when I had a new thermostat installed. Diffs were done in September when the breaks were checked for making tons of noise. oil changed every 6,250. and fuel filter was last done at 39,000.

so transmisson fluid should be changed, transfer case, and serp. belt, fuel filter and check clean air filter. that should have me well sorted out I think.

I just passed 60k few months ago. Had all fluids changed and all filters changed including coolant flush. I live in very hot climate, Mohave Desert and some places if your vehicle breaks down, it can be a serious situation. Don't go anywhere here without some means of communication and sufficient supply of drinking water.

I did the belt at 50K. Seemed to be in very good condition so I saved it as a back up. Required no special tools though getting the new one back on was a pain in the booty.
