Unfortunately, the fellow who returned my wife's Jeep to "original" configuration (put GDE ECU and TCM back in, reconnect EHM) on her trip after a dealer warranty repair of the rear diff neglected to replace the plug in the CCV hose when reinstalling the EHM, despite my going over it with him in detail over the phone and him assuring me he plugged it. (I checked the Jeep upon her return and found the hose clamp on the hose that is supposed to retain the plug, but the plug was in the parts box, not in the CCV hose.)

She drove most of the 1000 miles back home towing her 4000 lb horse trailer in heavy rain, so hopefully there was minimal dust in the engine compartment being sucked into the turbo.

Anyone want to speculate how much damage this may have caused?

Thanks,

DOC

Sounds like the perfect screw up, nothing cleans the air like water.
