You also can buy CV's much cheaper from autozone too... they suck, but they are much cheaper... |

Cheaper sometimes means "made in China", but that's a big difference in price. |

Rock Auto has the Dayco belt available for 38.00 dollars. Dayco belts are very good. They have Goodyear and Gates available too. |

Before you ask for a price on one of those Gates belts, you better sit down in a chair. There is a reason why big box auto parts stores are popping up on every corner in America now...and it's not because they use fair mark-up. Some items are marked up over 300%. |

well I may have other problems , that belt came apart after 10 miles , I checked the idlers and ten... and turned every thing , and it all looked like it was tracking right , I got a belt from advanced auto it is a dayco I hope I do not have a A/C compressor locking up |

It may be your alternator decoupler/pulley. If you have never replaced it, I would start there, that decoupler is the usual cause of a bouncy sepentine belt. |

well after replacing the belt and looking closer , I am seeing the belt trying to jump off the Power steering pump and the tensioner , it is not moving anywhere else , I think I am going to start with the tensioner , and hoping the PSP is not bad thanks to Keith (GDE) for identifying the PSP for me |

Goodluck on tne tensioner. They are around 200bux. I just picked up my decoupler pulley today and my tensioner was jumping too. Hopefully ill get to put it in tomorrow and see if it fixes it. The squeaky belt is driving me nuts. |

well I ordered my Tensioner from wholesalemopar tonight , I finally was able to remove it and confirm that it is the problem and not anything wrong with the power steering pump |

Spin the alternator by hand. I thought it was my tensioner also but checked it out first and my pulley wobbled when spun |

Yeah and with belts there quality is there price factor.Dayco sucks,so does gaterback's(Goddyear does not make belts anymore, sold name/rights to china). You want a EPDM belt and the OEM or Gates are the best EPDM belts on the market. |
