I pull a 3500lb pop up camper all over the country with my CRD. I would invest your money in Airlift bags for the rear springs with a load controller that can add or deflate while in the drivers seat. Mine even with a OME lift would squat like a dog when a trailer was hooked up to it. Also, be ready to get all kinds of annoyed with the spare tire every time you pull a trailer :)

I bought an extended tow bar I think its 18 inches. Takes the spare out of the equation.

I'm also running Monroe load adjusting shocks. Very nice.

Flip the spare tire mount over to get more clearence. It raises the spare and tilts the bottom inward :mrgreen:

I tow a camper that weights between 3000 and 3500# with a 400# tongue weight and per our owners manual at 300# a WDH (weight distributing hitch) is require :SOMBRERO:
With a properly adjusted WDH my jeep does not not squat :jester:
