Rough version is online now: http://colorado4wheel.com/content/KJ_TB.html Will be making further edits and changes tomorrow, but I figured I would let this soak overnight with you guys before I continued. If you see any glaring omissions, speeling errors, grammars, or other comments for changes please PM or Email Me. I wish to keep the semantics type of discussion out of the thread for now. As I update, add photos and information, corrections etc I will update the article on my webpage with comments from you guys. Thanks for looking! EDIT #1: Wow man that writeup is a mess. I was up late last night with a pretty bad cold/fever and unable to sleep so I figured I would try to get something accomplished. It was probably a mistake to post that until I got it more polished. Regardless the bulk of the verbage is in place but it needs a lot of spit and polish. More updates this evening, I got a few done so far. EDIT #2: Got some edits done, added verbage, corrected speeling errors etc. Any new feedback for me? EDIT #3: There is a video now online! In 5 parts on youtube! It should take you through the process in a fair bit of detail. CLICK ME!

Nice! Thanks for the great shots and info.. However you do a lot of work on Jeeps......... Not that this makes it look easy but I wouldn't recommend trying this at home if you don't have a fair amount of mechanical skills.

I've looked at it and it looks fine! Great job! Maybe add a pic of the correct tensioner alignment, the FSM is bad...

It is NOT an injection pump, it is a high pressure pump and requires no timing set. The folks that write the repair manuals and the engineers and those who build it, are all separate entities and they don't compare notes. This has been a problem at Chrysler for a very long time.

No way, I'm not touching this one. After the thread with pages and pages of talk about timing the pump and making sure to keep the alignment mark lined up on the pump.....no way. I'm going with the logic, keep the pump timed where it was.

We did NOT set it and it runs just like a new one. With all three pins in place your engine will be timed perfectly.

The engine will run fine, but why not just leave the pump timed where it was?
