 Post subject: SEGR circuit pin 5 ???

On this SEGR circuit I can't see pin NO 5. Is this circuit ok ?

The circuit is fine.

I would suggest substituting a 120 ohm resistor for the 10 ohm though, see:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=39264&p=422362#p422362

Pin 5 reconnects the egr if you want to insert a bypass plug. You may need to pass emission tests by removing the segr and inserting a "back to normal plug". There is a diagram somewhere here.

Removing this 10 ohms 20W with 120 ohms is excellent info. 120 ohms is standard 1/4W or ?

P = V*V/R
P = 13.5*13.5/120
P = 1.5 W

Use a 2 Watt resistor. These are still pretty small.

Today I installed SEGR. Excellent mod. Working perfectly with 120 ohms resistor. Minimal heating. Thank's Squeeto !
