Well - on mine it wasn't that bad - there's an Oil/water oil cooler under the Turbo - it blew a gasket. took several flushes and there's still oil in the cooling system. I hope that all it is. |

Had the same experience with our MB 300SDL. It weeped oil through a crank seal and occasionally needed a top off. Wife called and said that the low oil light came on and that she was pulled off the freeway. I told her there was a quart of oil in the trunk and that she should add it. She added it to the coolant reservoir. For some reason the engine warning light didn't come back on. Citric acid cleaned it out pretty well. |

Could also be a blow head gasket. Hope not. Are you running anything to advance the timing? |
