Provent is basically an air filter you install in the line between the crankcase vent and the Turbocharger intake. This was a pretty good writeup with pictures http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=3697&highlight=provent I've have mine on for about 1500 miles and my drain line is filling up with oil. |

It filters the oil out so it does not get into the intercooler and intact. Do a search for "CCV filter" that should lead to some dissiond on it. |
