Gauge sender locations?

I received my gauges today...pyro, boost, water temperature, oil pressure, transmission temperature, and voltage. I spent some time looking around the engine compartment (from the top and bottom) and didn't see any obvious places for the senders. I think the Jeep will be more challenging than my Superduty. I want to put the pyro sender pre-turbo. Where have people put their senders? Pictures would be wonderful.

Here is a spot for boost. Cross drilled post for cover mount, then drilled a VERY VERY small hole into intact.

Job well done on intake, what I want to know is where do you guys put the gages? The Libby ain't got much of a dash area for mounting them

Oldnavy - I'm going to put the pyro and boost gauges in an A-pillar pod. I'm planning to put the other 4 gauges in a 4-pod overhead mount made for a Superduty...which I expect to have to adapt/modify. If that doesn't work I'll have to think of a plan 'B'.

Ken, I'm not that familiar with this engine as of yet, is that piece on the engine already or is it something I need to obtain?

Sure thing. I'm currently working on the sender locations and working my way in to the gauges, and documenting the whole process with pictures. I'm initially going to try and put the 4-gauge pod to the immediate right of the mirror with the pod butted up against the mirror stem. We'll see how that works. I'm hoping to get everything done in 4-6 weeks.

Has anyone bought paint to match the light gray interior trim? Any tips on colors or places to get it? The paint I used on my Ford truck's gauge pod is too dark.

That part in on the engine, its one of the mounts for the black cover.

How big are the gauges? I have used a simple 2" hole saw in a drill to drop gauges into plastic dash panels in the past which worked fine. I don't like the way the Liiby is arranged for this. Been thinking of adding oil pressure, water temp, trans temp, and voltage on mine.

The gauges I have are the 2 1/16" Cobalt gauges by Autometer.
