Hello, I'm ready to buy one, preferably a Limited CRD, and want to find out what others have paid. So far, from other forums I heard anywhere from 25k to 30k for loaded Limited's. What did you pay? Please include your location and out the door price. TIA! Dustin |

When shopping for mine the best price I found was at Jeepwarehouse.com . You can get an online quote which includes the current rebates. My Liberty's MSRP was $27,800 and I paid $21,847 including rebates. |

$23,500 roughly, no rebates, 0% financing. (it ended up being $446 below dealer cost). $27,400 was sticker. |

FWIW, The dealer invoice IS NOT the dealer cost. Most of the time the true dealer cost is at least 6-7% under the invoice price. If the invoice was around $24k the dealer cost would be around $22.3k. |

The best I could do at the end of last September was about $3,700 off. There was only a $1,000 rebate at the time, plus I got the green sheet price before the rebate. Just four weeks later, the rebate jumped to $2500. I was, and still am, quite upset. I dbout you will get much response to this thread as this has happened to most of us and effectively devalued our vehicles with these end of the year rebates. If you search carmax.com, they sell new vehicles in only three dealerships across the U.S., and only two can sell the diesel because one is in California. Go to carmax and search for new Jeep liberties at Orlando FL, CJD, and the other place (in Atlanta I think). They each have about 5 CRDs from 2005 model year still available brand spankin' new. Up to $7,000 off MSRP. Makes me want to barf. One is a beautiful dark khaki CRD Limited, fully loaded with a MSRP over $30k, and a no haggle price of $23k. |

I told them what I wanted pay and we couldn't work a deal, but when we went to leave they called the owner. he basically said to give us what we wanted. We are good friends with everyone at the dealer as we've bought 5 vehicles from them. When we went to pickup the Jeep, and we're signing the paperwork I casually ask how much money they made on it since it couldn't have been much. He showed me the sheet showing a loss of $446 dollars. (Below dealer cost, not just below invoice) Basically they needed to meet a quota. Sometimes your in the right place at the right time. And it helps that we know everyone there and do alot of business there. |

I paid right around $25k for my Limited w/ a sticker of just over $30k. IIRC, $3,700 employee price rebate, $1k financing rebate, and I think there was something else. Maybe that was it. I paid my Jeep off early so the $1k was a better deal than the 0% for me. |

That deal at Carmax is the best I've seen, too bad its in FL. The two deals I've found are: - 06 CRD Limited, Loaded, excluding nothing, $30,000 w/ 0%, including Military discount - 06 CRD Limited, With most except GPS, skid plates, $28,110 w/ 0% or $1500 rebate but no 0%. (I'm told this includes employee discount) Question: what is green sheet price? Is that employee discount? I'd like to be able to take advantage of that w/ option #1, but how? Thanks for all the replies. -Dustin |

Next time ask them to show you the sheet that has the dealer kickback/holdback (rebate if you will) or whatever you want to call it that turns that paper loss into a tidy little profit. Its a sad state of affairs but the retail Auto business is based on deceit. Bottom line is, I'm really pleased to some peeps work some deals considering how well they are selling. |

06 Limited CRD here. Every option but the GPS package. Was a Chrysler Exec Demo vehicle, had 500 miles on it when we test drove it. Bought it used for $22, 451. I thought we did really good, and the bank thought we were stealing it when we got our financing. Now I'm not so sure looking at the rest of the numbers. They had two of them on the lot, we took the silver one and left the blue one there. |
