Provent is basically an air filter you install in the line between the crankcase vent and the Turbocharger intake.

This was a pretty good writeup with pictures

I've have mine on for about 1500 miles and my drain line is filling up with oil.

It filters the oil out so it does not get into the intercooler and intact.
Do a search for "CCV filter" that should lead to some dissiond on it.
