Here is another video of a CRD with bad rockers. I'm not sure your operating conditions or the code for misfire really matches up though.

And here is a CRD with a bad rod knock, that also had misfire codes for the #3, but it was the #4 rod bearing that "went away" during a hill climb in Savannah heat, without towing or wind.
