Any one in the Manitoba region recommend or able to do the infamous TB change? Looking for options ( other than the stealership ) in this area. Thanks!

I too am looking for somebody in Ontario.
Perhaps we need a forum just for listing places in Canada to go.

Sometimes "good" mechanics (for us) are just the ones that have experience with our trucks.
I have yet to see another CRD in my town so I understand if the mechanics are inexperienced.

Maybe check out other vehicle forums for a good diesel mechanic. Bring him/her printouts of the procedures we have here-

Painemann has some pics here-

And parts list here-

I think GDE has a pdf on the procedure on their site as well.

Contact these guys and ask for a shop that uses them for injector/injection pump/turbo repair work in your area.
http://www.westernturbo.com/about/index.html
They are an ADS member, a world wide organization dedicated to quality diesel component repair and are certified by companies like Bosch, ND, Garrett, and other manufacturers.
ADS members will not recommend dirt bags or second rate repair shops.
Some of the ADS members will replace your timing belt too, a LOST member near me found an ADS shop close to him that was happy to help him.

Best of Luck
