Hello !

I was reading a bit on this subject (ORM) and i see that some people done this mode and cel did not appear. I know that on us-spec kjcrd cel will appear, but i was wondering will it also appear on canadian spec liberty because i imported my from Vancouver last year, by now i did not have any issues with it, but i would like to stop this soot from entering the intake.

Unplug the MAF sensor and ignore the Check Engine light.

Canadian KJ CRDs have the Spedo and Odometer in KM instead of miles, that is all I know about.

From my part, I can confirm the CEL will come up if you pull the MAF for the ORM mod. The differences between US and CAN-spec KJ's are very few and mostly to accomodate different metering system and certain vehicle safety standards...
