Question to those who have tried it.

How did you get the CAT adapter to work?

I know Greg made about 100 or so - and a lot of folks tried them right away - and some had problems. However that was before we knew about the Air-in Fuel problem and when we thought lift pumps were bad. So some folks put a CAT filter on a leaky fuel head and had more problems than before.

However a couple of folks are still running CAT filters.

I'm still interested in a 2 micron filter, I have this adapter sitting in the garage - is it worth dealing with or should I go to the Racor?

I had the cat filter. It seemed to work well. I switched to the racor setup because I like the see through bowl and water drain, and I wanted to get rid of the old filter head. Of course shortly after they came out with the new filter head... I think most have had good luck with it. I like my racor setup though. That reminds me, I need to order a new filter.

If you decide to do the racor, pm me and I will send you the plugs you need described in bio hazard's writeup. I had to buy several and I have them put away somewhere in the garage.

I'm still running the Cat filter. No problems. I do have a lift pump.
