Howdy all. Its been a while since I last posted. Was in St. Paul MN Hospital for a month in the burn center. Had a tanker trailer explode on me. I am alive and well just healing at home. I was driving my CRD to town and noticed that its a little saggy on the front. I want to keep stock ride height but don't want to go back to struts. I am curious if there is a Coil Over conversion. I don't mind if it levels the jeep out, I just don't need any lift to run bigger tires.

You already have coilovers, they just get called "struts" which they are not as the "coilovers" label is taboo in the OEM market.

there arent any coilovers made specifically for the Jeep Liberty that will allow you to keep the stock ride hieght. JBA has coilovers that will give you the adjustability you want but they will also give you a lift. you might be able to find coilovers for something else and modify it to fit. your best bet and cheapest solution would be to do a clevis lift to level the front out.

Is it just the weight of the diesel that beats the stock struts to sag in 72k miles, Mostly pavement with some dirt road

Glad to hear you survived, are alive, healing and feeling better. Get well soon.

OT-you might want to consider the OME HD front springs specifically for the CRD. I am also in the process of looking into this route for a better front spring, although as I understand it so far, it will lift the front a little.

Thanks, ya I'm kinda stuck in the house for a month, but I am getting better fast.

Is there a better strut than stock to mate up with those HD springs?

Yes there are better shocks to go with OME 790's,OME makes some as does Bilstien.

So is what the KJ uses in the front, just not as fancy looking or with dual rate coils.Struts take place of a upper control arm and guess what the KJ has? A upper control arm hence they are coil overs.

The fronts are coilovers the rears are not. I use Koni adjustable shocks to get the ride I am looking for. Not sure exactly what you are looking for. With enough money you can have whatever you want.
