Sending the Green Diesel VM timing belt tool back tomorrow. Keith provides a wonderful service by renting these tools. The mechanic broke the new thermostat. Emailed Mark to see if I can get that thermostat back and finish it myself. Wish me luck.

good luck. I just did my TB service and also replace the tstat as part of the service, so my old one should still work if you need it.

FYI...if you need one I have a brand new, unused thermostat still in the box. I'm in Connecticut...you're in Maine ? Could probably get it to you pretty quick. PM me if you're interested Mike

Thanks guys. The old one is still working. Am holding out, hoping that Mark will send me back the one I sent him. Would go with a new one if I had too replace this one. Patience and I need it now, ha.
