 Post subject: Extending oil drain with GDE Tune

I have always considered fresh oil and filters as cheap insurance for long engine life. But today after draining the Mobil 1 after 6,565 miles I'm wondering if I could have waited longer. The drained oil was so clean that I thought I had goofed up the schedule until I checked my notes. My engine has had the Eco Tune for 26,000 miles now and I'm still impressed how the oil is getting cleaner as the soot is finally flushed out.
I have never had an oil analysis done before. How much does that cost?

I've been doing 9k oil changes. And I haven't been driving the jeep much lately, so I haven't gone through a full oil change since getting the eco tune yet and don't know what my oil will look like.

Thanks, That's half the cost of an oil change, I may just continue changing the oil at 6,000 miles and add the waste oil to the garage heater.

Per Keith he changes his oil every 8k. I do clean my filter (k&n) about every 4k. He doesn't recomend the k&n, but I have always ran them in all my vehicles.
