I'm about 10k miles from a timing belt replacement. I called a dealer in Meas, Az (I'll be there) and he quoted me $865 parts and labor for the job. Sounds like a pretty good deal. Of course this is the same dealer who missed the bad fuel filter head this past winter. Any comments?

That can't be more than labor and a belt. All the parts you should replace cost almost that much at a discount.

if the mechanic at that dealer has experience with the VMmotori in the CRD its a steal, if the mechanic has no experience.... hummm you might regret it later on.
