Makes me wonder if all it needed were $800 worth of rockers.

Still, $2300 means $2800 by the time you get it home, plus it has a salvage title......

Normally your vehicles mechanical failures aren't an insurance item, unless you get lucky enough to run over a piece of metal that punches a hole in the oil pan at the exact same time..........

Or you get an idiot insurance agent that just wants to get out of that vehicle and sees that it is a rare breed in this country... $$$$$$$ to fix in their mind, b/c they don't know about us.

Exactly what happened with my dad's hybrid. They bought us out of it, when admittedly the driver's side doors were jammed shut, but it didn't have deep structure damage. Could have been fixed.
