I`ve noticed every morning for the past week that my KJ smokes quite a bit but, not white or black smoke but rather grey/light brown. Constantly seen while driving and i`m wondering now if it`s not due to over fuelling perhaps as she`s been quite thirsty too. She drives ok, no issues from a power perspective. |

Hi welcome to the forum! Typically too much fuel is associated with black smoke....not really brown..... Have you cleaned your MAP sensor recently? This could cause smoke under all sorts of different conditions(and a dirty map will also cause a decreased fuel economy). Have you read the Noob guide yet? (the noob guide is mostly geared towards USDM KJs, but there is useful info for the 04- people as well.) |

I removed the CAT - it was so badly clogged the poor motor was having issues breathing - smoke is a thing of the past. |

Look closer at the time stamps. Over a year between the posts... |
