Did you throw in the pics of the Fumoto valve just to see if we were paying attention?

I usually just use the tools that I have on hand but it is good to know what the original tool looks like.

LOL, nah I took those because I wanted to have some pics of the Fumoto to add to the noob guide, then forgot to remove them from this post.

But now I gotta leave em otherwise people won't know what we are talking about!

...but knowing what the recommended tool looks like sure makes it easier to improvise.

oh man, i wish i could borrow for a weekend, or get a good drawing of the cam locking tool, i can just make one on the mill at work....

Ya its kinda on my list for one of these days to make some good drawings of them for people to copy the tools as they need em.

You'd be wasting your time. This tool ais great if you are doing the procedure often and need to work quickly but for a one off there are much simpler solutions to locking the cams. Now, if you just want to have fun making the tool then that's a different matter.
