Also there are some local rebuilds that put in better friction material on the lock up clutch. The main thing the Euro has is bigger springs than the old stock crap. Now they rebuild the old crap, upgrade the springs and sell it as the Euro replacement. |

Paying for the install? If yes, I would use the free one. |

If u plan on keepin this tractor thats an easy decision. Upgraded torque converter seals the weak link in the drive train and paves the way for long life, turbo upgrades, GDE hot tune, towing heavier loads with confidence. I've had zero shudder with my f37 rolling on 101,000 miles total (recall work done at 30k). But as soon as she goes, hello euro convert!!! |

Does anyone have experience with the APS Precision custom torque converters vs. Suncoast? I'm trying to decide between them (less expensive) and Suncoast (more expensive)? |

APS Precision is a Hemi, Suncoast is tuned for max performance capabilities of the engine CRD specific. My sig shows what I have. |

My sig shows what I have. I spoke to Wayne at APS; he told me each converter is custom built according to customer requirements which he solicits before starting and that the CRD is one of their biggest markets. Wouldn't it then be built to maximize performance of the CRD? |
