I just got an 05 crd with 106k miles an it threw the p0209 code on the way home from the dealership. I cleaned the map sensor and cleared the code it stayed off for a little bit but threw the same code again I think when you power on it. It looks like it has the stock intercooler tubes so maybe they are leaking? I was also told it may be sticky vanes in the turbo if so how do I go about cleaning those up? The jeep seems to have good power and the light was t on when we test drove it so I hope this is nothing major. Any suggestions?!?! Ps I am planning to change the timing belt this week. |

There has been problems with the vacuum lines going bad to the control valve over on the right side in front of the coolant tank. The heat from the turbo has been doing them in. On the charged air hoses you need to remove them to properly check for splits. |
