Post subject:  Provent hose size?

I recently installed a Jeg's air/oil separator between the CCV and the intake (I know it's not a provent, but it was cheaper). I ran 3/8 inch inside diameter hose from the CCV to the separator and then again to the intake. Is this hose too small? Everyone I see on here is using 3/4. I used the 3/8 for my elephant hose and when I held my hand up to it, it didn't seem like there was much pressure. Also, could the vacuum created by the turbo be powerful enough to make the hose collapse? I'm using some sturdy fuel line hose for now. Thanks in advance!

By the way, I think the Jeg's separator looks pretty cool mounted on the front of the airbox.

Judging by your location (Nebraska), the size of the line you use, the material the separator is made(Metal) and the position away from any heat source under the hood, I think you have great chance everything freeze next winter!

But he realy look great and even better on a compressor! Time will tell...Good luck.

I'm curious to see what you report on this version of the home made provent, I looked at air compressor filters for it too but decided no to go with them as I thought it might be to restrictive of the air flow...
Please let us know how it does and thank you for sharing!!!
