A few weeks ago my ABS/TC/ESP/BAS lights came on in my '06 Liberty after going over a large pothole. At first I thought I had a bad wheel sensor, but after inspecting all four I do not think this is the issue. The lights will stay on for hours or days and then go out for minutes or hours. When the lights are off, under hard breaking the ABS system kicks in when it should not. This does not happen when the lights are on. I'm pretty sure I have a poor connection somewhere, causing the system to keep coming on and off. Any ideas of problem areas? Any help would be appreciated. Brian |

geskermann wrote: my '96 Liberty Wow - I didn't know they made 96's...... probably just getting old..... however for an 06 - if you're sure about the sensors - check all the sensor wires - track em back until you hit computer. - also on 06CRD's - they moved the filter head to make room for the ESP pump -and caused a lot of damaged/shorted wires in that bundle, I think they had a TSB on it. |
