06 crd cruise not coming on.

Did some searching, all my brake lights work.

No cel, but hitting the cruise button, the cruise light wont even come on in the dash.

It started with a glow plug relay unit. The dealership replaced it under warranty, along with fast metallic glow plugs. It had to go back 2x more because they didnt reflash the ecu once and installed the wrong relay once, and ended up having to replace everything again. That issue has been resolved, but when i picked it up the cruise control didnt work.

Ive checked brake lights and the fuse, both are fine. I dont think its a vac leak because no cel, but im open to suggestions. During the 'test drives' they used up the remaining mileage on my warranty, and im pretty sure i dont want them fixing it anyway.

The glow plug issue required a reflash of your ECM. In doing so they forgot to enable the CC :jester:

So it's back to the dealer to correct their oversite :banghead:

i second that tip, take it to the stealership and have them reset cruise, btw the service manager was not happy with me knowing what was wrong with my cruise, apparently my knowing cost him $600 dollars in lost revenue, thank you l.o.s.t. and all its contributors. :ROTFL:
