Look up the ORM. Unplug the connection on the air box. |

The LOST search function ain't no I have heard rumors that Monica Lewinsky is thinking about filing a law suit against the LOST search function because it sucks so much In fact you can find the posts faster by typing in the search key words into and it will link you back to LOST. If you want to give that a try, type into , "Acid Head Hippies". It will take you to the LOST link. There is lots of information in the CRD Tech Section you should check out: viewtopic.php?f=98&t=22631 If you need to go back in for warranty work, plug the MAF back in and do at least three restarts. |

My EGR valve was getting stuck and causing a hesistation while driving and I unplugged the MAF on the airbox and the hesitation is gone. Yes I do have the CEL, but at least it runs so much better now. Much easier than deleting the EGR which I plan on doing with GDE tuning instead. |

My oil seems cleaner with MAF ,OFM and suspect the motor will last a lot longer. Simple to do pull red lock near the air filter top housing and pull it out. Tape the open connections to keep clean. You must be newbie and I suggest spending few hours reading to keep your CRD lasting! Boost sensor needs a cleaning! You could order GDE computer reflash and kills the EGR in process which would mean better performance than stock CRD and higher mileage think run $650. HOW can I buy Extended Warranty with 105k? |

My fiscal logic on the GDE tune SOLUTION to the EGR: $200 ebay egr valve $200 install said egr ------- $400 = EGR failure cost, apparently a close to 100% failure rate 450-400= 50$ to recoup in saved fuel if you think the egr might only die once. My fuel costs and tire costs are likely going to go up actually since I accept the fact that you have to pay to play I personally, after having tuned my jeep, doubt I will be able to recoup that much fuel in regular driving since the 3-5MPG benefit assumes you have the restraint required to lift your foot back out of the now fun skinny pedal. Now that on damp days I can get 4 wheel drift off a left turn launch.... and still get 20MPG in the city.... Could you take your foot out of it?? |
