Have 175000, doing rockers, lifters, cam shafts, glow plugs, new TB, & water pump. Serious problems started around 160 K with clogged intake. GDE eco tuned @ that time, 160 K too late. Also have Sasquatch intake kit. |

201,000 here and just put the first timing belt on. I bought it from the guy who bought it new and he knew nothing about these engines, never touched it and to make it worse he ran regular old 15-40 diesel oil. intake ports were so clogged you couldn't even stick a pencil in them. all rockers were seized. my wife calls it the jeep in a box because they had taken it all apart and had it in boxes in the back seat. the stock water pump was tight, the idlers and tensioner were tight. not knowing if it would even run I put a new timing belt on, stuck a set of used rockers in from a donor engine, cleaned intake put it together and it runs like a new one. im totally amazed. im gonna run it this summer and tear her down and give her a good maintenance upgrade. of course I gotta do a egr delete with the pipe kit on here, t'stat housing, a good hot tune, and tranny upgrade. but for now 201,000 and running strong completely stock with egr unhooked now. |

I purchased my 05 in August this year with 104,300 on the odometer. According to the maintenance records it has had an EGR replaced and the detune flash from Chrysler. I have replaced the drivers side engine mount and timing belt, tensioner and idler pulleys this past week. Currently I am at 106,100.

I'm at about 166,000 miles now. The hit list (parts broken or worn out): Front lower ball joints Right front wheel hub Fuel filter head Crankcase vent Cylinder head Fuel pressure sensor + harness connector MPROP + harness connector Other than that, just normal maintenance. Timing belt replaced at 100k and 160k miles. To do list: Front upper ball joints/control arms OME lift Trans cooler Hemi torque converter GDE tune |
