Ive been running a cone type filter on my crd for a while now useing parts i got for the local parts store. I'll try to load a pic if i can get it to work. I'm looking to fab up a new system with ss tubeing and make a new heat shield set up. Has anyone done this on there jeep? I have all the tool at our diesel shop but im a mechanic not a fabricater and would like to see some ideas but if not i guess it will be trial and error. |

K&N heat shield off 3.7 gasser air intake kit, used stock intake hose, used a 3" to 4" exhaust adapter to fit filter  Got a AFE pro guard 7 filter to replace the K&N filter, and put the air temp sensor into the adapter using a rubber grommet.  I just called K&N direct and they will let you buy just the heat shield. |
