Hey thanks for the heads up.

Unfortunately this motor will do pretty much everyone in the US no good, its the export 2.5L from the 2002-2004's and there is just about nothing that will cross over and be useable for the US 2.8.

Fortunately for me I already have one of these motors, so it does do me good.

Now I just gotta figure out what I can afford to spend on it.

I don't see a turbo, must be a NA engine.

In what kind of rig you find this engine in US Sam??? Marine? Industrial? Generator? Tractor? England Taxi? You got the ECU and all the wiring? Do you need a TCM since the 2.5L can be fit on manual tranny?

Wish you get it for cheap but I'm very curious to know what you expect to do with it. :?:

My MJ has this same engine in it. You won't find anything else in the US with it. Its a 2002-2004 KJ with 5speed engine.

I could use it as a spare for my MJ or as spare parts for my MJ. Not sure who else is bidding on it but I'm guessing they have no idea what they are getting into with it, its not nearly complete enough to be used and would need a fair number of export only parts to get it to work.

Remember VM engines have been sent to Toledo Ohio USA, put in various Jeeps then shipped all around the world except for North America since 1992 :furious:
