Yes, but that's potentially too much dynamic tongue weight for our rigs without a weight distrbuting hitch. I would never tow 3500 lbs without equalizer bars. We tow a 5000 lb horse trailer with bars all the time with absolutely no drama.

Hello fello CRD's,
I've been towing a camper that weighs about 2000# with the "air lift 1000" for the last 3 years and have not had any issues. No need to use a weight distribution hitch. The air lift 1000 is the best solution if you want to level your ride when towing.

These appear virtually identical to the Firestones that several member have had good experience with. I have had AirLifts on my 2001 4WD PSD Excursion for 8 years with good results.

I would be reluctant to tow much over 2000lbs with the KJ CRD without a weight distributing hitch, though, even with air bags. However, with a WDH, we have towed 5000 lbs over 30K miles without the slightest drama, so far.
