Lift pump installation is finished! Pump and Fuel Level Gauge are working fine, and no leaks detected during initial start up ![]() BUT, I'm seeing 15psi. at the fuel filter. I had expected (hoped) to see 10psi. from what I read earlier off of the Airtex website for the E7181M ![]() ![]() |

I have 13.5psi at the filter for the past 5 years, no problems, best mod to date! |

I'm being told by a noted authority that 15psi is way to high of a pressure to force feed our CP3s. Can anyone suggest a brand/ model of an inline pressure regulator that would reduce the pressure down to 3-4psi? |

Over the years I have had expensive gauges that were off and cheap ones that were right on. It would be a shame to waste a lot of time and money due to a gauge that is off. |

Hi warp I was hoping that you would chime in. I actually tried two pressure gauges. First I pegged my fuel pressure/vacuum gauge at 10psi. So used a 0/30psi gauge that I had on hand which indicated a little over 15psi fuel pressure. I admit the second gauge was old, I will take your advice and find another. Do you have any advice if the pressure is correct? |

I installed a Kennedy lift pump. According to a gage I plumbed in, pressure coming into the filter is around 3-4 psi. |

15psi too high.. huh? the lift pump feeds a gear pump that dumps at 73ish psi if the FSM is correct. i wonder what's the psi on a common rail cummins or dmax? -dkenny |
