I had another 06 LTD park next to me a day after GDEing the Libby and that owner and I got to talking. I know he will have read up on the jeep here because he was almost at tears with how a couple issues were being handled at the dealer (throw parts at it and scratch head then throw more parts) and when I told him about this place and GDE, I think he wanted to hug me.
I could imagine the loneliness people must feel trying to go through a dealer raping expecting and paying the dealer to know whats right... only to find a Pen1s where there really is not supposed to be a Pen1s.....
I may make something up on waterproof paper....
Hello fellow Liberty CRD owner.
I too have a very rare Diesel Liberty and have come across a owners' group on the internet where our vehicles' issues and have been diagnosed, trouble-shot and preventative measures identified for most.
The engine in our vehicles is different, and as such many mechanics (especially dealers) do not give them much love. There are a number of things we can do to make them last and run better. Really if you would like to prolong the enjoyment of your vehicle, I invite you to check out the community at
www.lostjeeps.com/forum/ scroll half way down the page and you will see the CRD section
If you do not want to, there is no need to join unless you want to say hello or ask specific questions; All our information is there for anyone to read and search.
Regards,
Geoff (user tregrrr on the forum)Just to point those in the wild towards the light. If they choose to come in they can, if not, not harm no foul.
