Has anyone all of the sudden not been able to fill there fuel tank? Week ago everything is fine, now I can't hardly get any fuel in without it trying to burp out. Want to know if anyone else has experienced this before I tear into it. I wonder if someone tried to siphon fuel and then left something in the fill neck? Is it cold weather related? It is a mystery!

Well unless your tank is really full it's easy to drop the filler neck and hose :SOMBRERO:
Could it be you got some really foamy fuel? Some is way worse then warm beer after you shake the bottle
There's a vent tube and looking upward from behind the left rear wheel you can see it. It's attatched wuth a clip type thing to the filler neck or hose, I don't remember which one.

The colder the temperature is, the foamier it gets. I hate filling it when the temp has been sub zero for a while, the time when you want it to fill fastest is when it takes the longest.

Got diesel all over my shoes yesterday, lots of foam, never like this before, I guess the tanks on the stations are full of the winter stuff now...

Saw a report somewhere of someone with a similar problem in a new vehicle. When the took the filler neck apart, they discovered somebody somewhere had stuffed a rag down in there. There IS a spring in the neck that is supposed to make it difficult to impossible to siphon out fuel, and the rag was shoved up against that spring.

If somebody did that to you, just be glad they didn't deal with the issue via the NEW fuel theft protocol: slide a pan or washtub under the vehicle and punch holes in the tank so it drains into the tub.

And another argument for a good fuel tank skid plate?
