Good point! The stock airbox hose only lasts about 40k miles if the CCV system is hooked up (as in stock, not EHM) b/c the hose is natural rubber and the oil contamination just dissolves the rubber into a gooey mess. Yuck. You don't want that mess right in the entrance of your turbo, but the oil leak would wrap around the cold side of the turbo and could EASILY follow the return line down to where you wiped it off.
Thinking about it... That seems like a much more likely source for the oil you found. That hose is a dealer-only part, but it is only like $55.
