Not that im happy with the idea of it. But its my girls, found a nice one and as I do with everything got elbows deep first day. SO I know its tuff to sell if people dont know exactly what is needed and takes for the CRD to be what it is. So being its the girls she is thinking she wants something else, loves it and the diesel is awesome but it is a very weird seating setup and like no room, even though she is a 110 lbs an im only 5'8" its weird. Not jumping on it right away but considering it. Jeep is all paid off and perfect running order. Below is a list of details

05 CRD Limited 94K miles Black with Grey inside Leather heated seats all that
Timing belt, thermo, water pump, pulleys all done at 92K miles by very top notch mechanic
EHM done
Green Diesel Engineering ECU swapped with ECO tune
Samco Intercooler Hoses
Transmission is a brand new Jasper (In when I bought it works perfect)
I do not know what torque converter is in it so I assume stock
F37 Recall done
1.5" Old Man Emu suspension and struts put on at 90K
15x7 Black soft 8 Cragers with 30x9.5.15 BRAND new BFGoodrich A/T's including spare on back
Also have stock wheels and tires to go with it
Deleted Cat and put high flow muffler on
Just Bedlined the grill and door trim so ist not chrome anymore
Everything above was done by me or a shop. Jeep was bone stock when we bought it from a Subaru dealer locally.
Jeep is in great shape no rust.
NEVER taken offroad by us at all just built her up to ride smooth and look good. Also so in snow it would do the job but we have not even tested it yet
Brand new WeatherTech Digital fit floor liners in front, rear and cargo liner
We bought with 89K miles on it and I am rounding up with 94K. Rides very smooth and no issues as I said its just a change of plans and thoughts for what vehicle she wants to keep.
Rest is stock inside Has factory navigation and all stock speakers nothing altered or town apart.

What kind of value can I tag on this thing if sold to someone who understands it and appreciates the belt and all being done already. And if traded to a dealer what could I demand for it if we went that route.

Thanks,
Jim

Located in NY if anyone feels interested!

Your best bet is probably to sell it on here, at least we would know and appreciate all those mods.

Dealers will just KILL you on the value, and they look at mods as REMOVING value, not adding it. I'd confidently say a dealer will probably take one look at the mileage and the mods and offer you $7500, maybe $8000 if the interior is super clean, and they will auction it off instantly without even opening the hood. They will want to make at least $1500 on the deal, so normally take the "retail" Kelley Blue Book value and subtract to find their likely offers. Initial offer will of course be lower still, to lowball you and negotiate up.

Deleting the cat is also a big problem for them, and if you tell them it has an engine tune, the offer will probably be $6000 if they even make one. They won't want to take ANY responsibility for an epa-improper setup, and they won't trust anything that isn't a factory engine tune. In their eyes, people "only buy engine tunes for power, which means voiding the warranty type driving and abuse" no matter what you say, they will not change from that flawed opinion.

Sell it here, you won't make out like a pillaging pirate, but you will get a fair price. Possibly in the $10k-$12k range.

If you trade Would you trade ECUs with GDE eco tune plus cash for mine?

And tires and rims; I'm in CT and could meet you depending on where you are.

Also I have these for trade as well;

Not to discourage an ECU swap but as I recall doing so is not a drop in deal; if I recall correctly the ECU is VIN specific so some sort of VIN flash, perhaps by GDE, maybe needed.

Papaindigo is correct: Because of the SKIM (Secret Key Idiot Module) system, the ECU has to have the VIN programmed into it in order to authorize the engine to start. You cannot just drop it in, it would need to be reprogrammed by GDE to match the new vehicle. I do not know how much Keith would want to do that, if at all.

I think you need to swap in injector codes as well, 24 digit code on front of timing belt cover white sticker, or set of 6 numbers on top of each injector just under return line front to back no breaks to make the 24 digit code.

Bump up for this one. May be more serious on the sale. It is paid off and title should be at house in next week or so.

I'll move to for sale section when it happens but if anyone is interested ahead contact me and we can work something out.
