I ordered upper and lower control arms with new bushings made by Doreman I plan on doing the job this weekend anything I need to know before I start the job? Any unforseen problems to expect?

Why do you need new control arms?

Front or Rear?

I replaced the rear control arms on mine and they went bad in a month... Cheap aftermarket parts probably won't hold in what appears to be a fairly high-stress (torque) component.

I'm considering modifying the stock LCAs with Johnny joints: http://www.currieenterprises.com/cestor ... px?id=1262

They are the front upper and lower. The bushings on the uppers are really shot I had bad rotors that caused a lot of pulsation that wore them out the bottoms had a little play in them so I decided to replace all of them. The uppers come with new balljoints they were only $59 online bottoms were more but rather bite the bullet now and get it done with.

By the way I put on the third set of new rotors I got powerstop ones with ceramic pads. Brakes feel great NO MORE CHINESSE GARBAGE! :furious: Its definatly worth spending more for quality parts. Learned my lesson with $35 rotors 8)
