So relatively new crd owner here... 30,000 miles on her. So the preform service light is going off on the information center... Just changed the oil and did the fuel filter. Wondering what it means and how to reset it? Thanks

Searched Google with this: reset (service or maintenance) code jeep liberty

First item at the top of the list: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 201AA1kTL6

Power of the internet, thanks to Al Gore...

Look up at the EVIC. There should be a button that says "STEP" press that until you get to "0 miles till service" comes up. Then just press "RESET" that's all there is to it. It is in your owners manual.

Welcome. If you have not already done so go to Sir Sam's NOOB guide and read thru it and while there download the 05 and 06 Factory service manuals. You need both to get the illustration keys only the 05 has and the diesel cooling system data and diagnostic codes and steps only the 06 has. If you don't have or think you don't have the Owner's manual open the glove box and look at the top shelf; if it's not there download a copy of that too.
