OK, went to dealer to get speedometer re calibrated and 2005 are different from 2006 models, They use the Startech to program on the 2006 which I have . I looked up the revolutions per mile, and plugged the number (original tire size: 225 75 16 is 688.63 rpm's vs new tire size: 265 75 16 is 637.23 rpm's). Now the speedometer is showing 58 mph when you are actually are doing 70 mph. Does anyone know how it should be done to correct the speedometer? dealer does not know how to figure it. |

Talked to Keith at GDE, he told me to reverse calculate the rpm's. So we (Dealer)did that and ended up programing it to 765 rpm's for the 265 75 16 and it is now within .5 MPH, but the odometer is off approx 9%. Lanny at Tony Martins Jeep in Platte City, Mo. 816 858 5575 cost $50.00 |
