Have a new to me CRD, with a rythmical bearing noise from the front. Sounds more like from the drivers front than the passenger. I replaces drivers front hub and bearing assembly but no change in noise. Noise does not change regardless of which front tire I load by turning, noise is constantly present as long as you are moving and is definitely related to a bearing I believe. I think it actually may be coming from the front differential. I have checked the oil level, it seems fine, I'm trying to isolate the noise between the front diff and the wheel bearings. Thought about removing both CV shafts and then driving it to eliminate the front diff turning, also thought about if the diff is the same in the gas jeep liberty. I may look into getting another front diff out of a gasser and replace the differential so I have no down time, and then dig into the internals and look for the noise on a bench. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

This sounds similar to what I am hearing on my Jeep. My guess was the wheel bearings but I have not tried replacing these yet. Let me know if you find out what the problem is..
