Well I am new the the jeep liberty, and didnt really care much for them until i found the CRD.
I have been looking at this jeep for a month or so now, but am wondering what the community thinks...

Dealer has it listed for $14950 w/ 70k miles

I havent even test drove it yet, only stopped and looked at it a couple times after business hours.

I guess i am asking if it's a good deal or not, and what i should look for when i actually test drive the vehicle.

Oh and i did read the noob guide haha.

Day late and a dollar short my buddy just rolled in to work with it tonight.....diesel liberty fever has begun at Schlumberger in Grand Junction. So all these parts are rock lizard? They are very nice and stout one off pieces that look good. Has Evic, heated power leather, sunroof, updated fuel head, everything ect......walked away with it for 12,500  It does hav ea switched wired up to a relay and havent chased it down yet but not sure what it goes too. Anybody know who owned this prior? We where told it was an older gentlemen one owner but who really knows.

A CarFax report based on the VIN should show the prior owners if no one on the forum knows.

Thanks guys, its a sweet ride for sure. The pinch weld needs to be dealt with along with some suspension work but its on its way to being a great jeep.

You pound the pinch welds in the front wheel wells for more clearance for larger tires. And everything is rock lizard design his first ones at that. Rather interesting actually because the front is definitely one of his earliest designs and the rear also. I would probably go as far to say this was probably one of the first complete sets maybe even a test mule. Either way nice looking jeep hope your buddy uses it like it is supposed to be used.

Other than the hideous wheels it looks pretty good.
