My leaning curve continues. As I was again poking around under the hood tonight trying to inspect my CAC hoses, I noticed there seems to be A LOT of oil residue smeared and caked in the general area of where the CAC intake and turbo intake hoses connect. I finally got them removed, but I don't see any obvious tears or breaks in them.
This CRD is a little over 100K miles and has been totally stock until the other day when I cleaned the MAP and did the ORM. Is it possible that the hoses have simply been weeping oil for a long time to explain quite a bit of caked oil, but yet I won't see any obvious defects? They were sure full of oil on the inside and felt pretty soft in places.

The holes tend to be on the bottom and sometimes require a bit of finger probing to find. Frankly if the turbo>intercooler>engine hose are OEM and soaked with oil my recommendation is to just bit the bullet and spring from the Samco replacements from Boost Controller as simple preventive maintenance. It's not a matter of if the OEM hose will die but when it will die and I can assure you it will be at a very inopportune moment. Same with the 1st gen fuel filter head. FYI while you have the turbo/intercooler hoses off pull the airbox to turbo hose and see if it's split/torn right down by the turbo just below where the hose from the CCV puck enters it.

I removed the turbo intake hose as well, again no obvious breaks but there was a lot what appeared to be oil seepage around the area where it attaches to the turbo. Is 53013104AE the correct part # for that hose?

Yes allthough if it's solid (tug at that end) the seepage is probably just a not totally tightened clamp.
