was at my local Advance Auto (in CT) this morning. They finally have Mobil 1 0w-40 in 5 qt containers ! Saves about $7 on an oil change.

It also is on sale @ $32.99+ a free Mobil 1 oil filter, which saves another $12.99.

Yay ME !

My 2cents T6 Rotella, I use this in the CRD, TDI and Cummins. :pepper:

this is the "recommended" oil for the CRD, but I, like you, use Rotella T6.
But it is also the recommended oil for the 2 VW's we have, (both gassers), so i do use the stuff.

I, too, use the 0w40 M1. No problems whatsoever. It has VW ratings, and has a CF rating, good enough for our rigs. My .02 cents. Please, lets refrain from the oil debate, as I am sure this will stir some stuff up on the subject. To each their own on oil. 0w40 is good, 5w40 T6 is fine as well. Use either with confidence.

Is the 0w-40 the same for the gasoline as it is the diesel? I have some left over in the garage from my Caliber SRT-4 I sold. Would love to use it.
