My jeep has 4 stored engine codes & po501,po671,po299,p1250.My intake system is full of oil.The Dr. gave me a bad report. Can anybody give me some fixes ,after market or otherwise . There is a recall to replace the lower control arms (L 27 Recall). :JEEPIN:I had a elec. brake controler put on it,and now have an abs light after a hard rain.I will say that when all was good it pulled a 5,000 lbs loaded toy hauler camper, pretty impressive for a 4 cyl. Luv this thing

P0501 - Vehicle speed rationality fault, very rare and could be a communication fault or bad wiring
P0671 - Failed #1 cylinder glow plug (closest to fan)
P0299 - underboost, could be from excessive soot in EGR circuit or no vacuum reaching turbo
P1250 - excessive load or plausibility fault on the vacuum on/off solenoid that allows vacuum to turbo vacuum modulator. This could also be a cause for the underboost if vacuum is not reaching turbo to move vanes. This part can be bypassed by moving vacuum supply line to the turbo EVM (has blue isolator and little air filter on bottom, just behind air box).

The glow plug should be fixed ASAP due to issue with the tips cracking and falling into the combustion chamber leading to significant damage in some cases. GDE

#1 Glow plug is one of the easiest to reach - they happen..

An alarming amount of oil in the hoses leaving the turbo is normal, if you've never seen it before, and actually comes from the crankcase breather (the black hockey-puck on the top-pass side of the engine with the hose going into the turbo inlet...). Set that aside for the moment.

The other codes are likely secondary to the turbo issues, which sounds like a problem with the vacuum feed used to move the variable vanes... and the little hose that feeds it is shielded by a small silvered tube that sometimes gets too close to hot things and melts in hard to see places and ways. If you trace that line from the turbo out you may find a damaged spot. Repair that and you're almost done.

Not sure about the 501 - could be a transient battery or electrical issue. I'd reset when everything else is fixed and see if it returns.
