Hi guys. I come to you again with another CRD issue. Occasionally but not always (10-20% of the time), when I get in the CRD, start it, and put it in gear (doesn't matter if it is reverse or drive) it feels as if the transmission is slipping. It revs to above 2k and slowly begins pulling. Other times I get in, start it, put it in gear and it feels as strong as a new one. I thought maybe a clogged/clogging filter but I just had it serviced (new filters and fluid) and it is still doing it. It doesn't seem to change hot or cold, it has done it in both conditions. Anyone encountered this before?
Thanks,
Steve

Did this start right after the service or should I read "still doing it" to mean it was doing this before the service?

Been doing it for a while. I was just hoping the tranny service would fix the problem. Forgot to mention that when it slips that sometimes I stop, put it back in park and most of the time it will feel good again when I put it in gear and pull away.
I've had a transmission that has been slipping before (other vehicles) and it was a constant slip. This isn't constant. Sometimes it does it and other times it is fine.

I'm having similar symptoms at 108K on my CRD. Just had the tranny flushed and replace with B&G fluid. Runs smoother but that little slip/clunk is still there. I'm thinking its the torque converter. This forum has some info on after-martket replacements and a euro partnumber that's better for the CRD.
